Refund policy

Refund Policy — Tranquil Cup Roasting Company

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made directly through Tranquil Cup Roasting Company, including one-time orders and subscriptions, via tranquilcup.com and our official sales channels.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

Damaged or Incorrect Items
Refunds or replacements are issued for items that arrive damaged or do not match the original order.

Perishable Goods
Roast-to-order coffee and other perishable items are eligible for refund or replacement only if they arrive damaged, incorrect, or are reported as stale within 7 days of delivery.

Unopened Nonperishable Items
Unopened, nonperishable merchandise returned within 30 days of delivery may be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Opened Consumables
Opened coffee bags, ground coffee, and other consumables are not eligible for refund unless defective, contaminated, or incorrectly fulfilled.

Digital Products and Gift Cards
Digital products and gift cards are non-refundable.

How to Request a Refund or Exchange

To request a refund or exchange, email support@tranquilcup.com and include:

  • Order number
  • Purchaser’s name
  • Brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos when applicable

We acknowledge requests within 3 business days and will provide next steps or a resolution.

Do not return items without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Returns, Shipping, and Restocking

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error or damage on arrival.
  • A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to eligible nonperishable returns and will be disclosed during authorization.
  • Returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until received and inspected by us.

Refund Processing

  • Returned items are inspected within 5 business days of receipt.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
  • Partial refunds may be issued for eligible nonperishable items only if they are not returned in original condition.

Subscriptions and Cancellation

Subscriptions may be canceled at any time through the customer account or by contacting support@tranquilcup.com.

Pro-rated refunds for partially processed subscription shipments are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on fulfillment status.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks submitted without prior contact may delay resolution.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of suspected fraud or abuse.

Exceptions and Updates

Purchases made through third-party retailers or marketplaces must be returned through the original seller.

This policy may be updated periodically. The version in effect at the time of purchase applies.
